My journey with Naturals By Jelique began out of a personal necessity. Having severe psoriasis on my scalp and face, I found myself spending a fortune on creams and products that simply weren't effective.

 

Thanks to my background in science, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own all-natural, chemical-free solutions for my skin. Growing up in Jamaica, surrounded by an abundance of natural ingredients, I felt empowered to experiment and find what worked for me.

 

Through trial and error, I started with crafting my own shampoos and conditioners. This led me to create scalp oils, and eventually, a whole range of skincare products. My love for fragrances allowed me to incorporate delightful scents into my formulations, all while promoting healing and clearing blemishes.

 

Having access to raw, organic ingredients like coconut oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, jojoba oil, and even sea salt from Turkey, allowed me to create products with complete integrity. My scientific background came in handy as I experimented with different oil combinations, analyzing their effects on the skin and scalp. I explored how these combinations could minimize pores, cleanse the skin, promote a healthy glow, and even stimulate hair growth.

 

The result? A collection of effective products like my sea salt scrub, sugar scrub, coffee scrub (a personal favorite!), and of course, my incredible hair growth oil – a testament to its success through years of personal use.
